Three-time Dove Award-winner and worship leader Paul Baloche will headline ��������’s Worship 4:24 Conference and Weekend of Worship, held Jan. 29–31 in the Dixon Ministry Center. 

Paul Baloche Headlines Worship 4:24 Conference at �������� 

Baloche, known for writing popular worship songs such as “Open the Eyes of My Heart,” “Hosanna,” “Your Name” and “Behold Him,” will also debut a brand-new worship song during the event. Titled “Spirit and Truth,” the song was co-written by Baloche and songwriter/arranger John Bolin. The song will premiere during the Night of Worship at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30. 

New Worship Song “Spirit and Truth” To Premiere During Night of Worship 

“Spirit and Truth” will be published by Semsen Music and will feature in their song catalog. Cedarville’s student worship team, Jubilate, will make the demo recording for the song, and Cedarville worship will be featured on the sheet music cover. 

Worship 4:24 Focuses on Christ-Centered, Biblically Grounded Worship 

The Worship 4:24 Conference is co-sponsored by the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and Cedarville’s Department of Music and Worship. It is designed to equip and encourage worship leaders, musicians, bands, praise teams and tech crews to lead authentic, biblically grounded worship in a culture where many church leaders express concern over increasing shallowness and a drift from truth. 

John 4:24 Shapes Conference Theme and New Song 

The conference name is drawn from John 4:24: “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth,” emphasizing Christ-centered worship rather than cultural trends. Baloche’s new song, “Spirit and Truth,” was suggested by �ٰ�.&�Բ�����;��Dz����&�Բ�����;��’N����, professor of worship, as the theme song for the conference. 

Weekend of Worship Equips High School Students and Church Leaders 

The Weekend of Worship is tailored for high school students (ages 14‑18) and their adult sponsors, giving them an early opportunity to worship together, participate in band coaching with Baloche and his band, and prepare spiritually for the full conference. Registration for the weekend includes conference access, Baloche’s concert, meals and a question-and-answer period with Baloche.  

“We want to have something for everyone, and make sure our classes meet the needs of the local church,” said O’Neel. “We have a wide range of church sizes and worship styles represented.”  

Conference registration covers entrance to all sessions, Baloche’s evening worship concert and Saturday’s lunch. Day-of registration will be available on Friday or Saturday, Jan. 30-31, at $90 per adult or $45 per student (7th grade through college).
